Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file that a site you visit stores in your browser. It is used for things such as keeping your session alive and remembering your language preference.

Session cookie — carries your identity after sign-in. It is strictly necessary; without it the panel cannot be used.

Language cookie (MAKINAI_LOCALE) — remembers your chosen interface language for one year. There is no automatic redirect based on browser language; the language changes only when you choose it.

Security cookies — used to secure form submissions and the session flow.

Cookie preference cookies (makinai_consent, makinai_cid) — keep your cookie choice and a random anonymous ID linking your choice record for 180 days. They are necessary so that we can prove your consent (Turkish Law No. 6698 and GDPR).

Apart from these, your theme preference (light/dark) is not stored in a cookie but in your browser’s local storage, and is never sent to the server.

Analytics cookies are set only if you consent to the “Analytics” category. Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) measures aggregated, anonymised statistics such as which pages are visited, time on site and device/browser type, in order to improve the service. Cookies used:

_ga — distinguishes visitors with a random ID; lasts up to 2 years (browsers may cap this at 400 days).

_ga_XXXXXXXXXX (_ga_*, per measurement ID) — maintains session state; lasts up to 2 years.

If you do not consent, or withdraw later, these cookies are not set; under Google Consent Mode v2, advertising and analytics storage is signalled as “denied”.

The legal basis is your explicit consent. You may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

No behavioural-tracking advertising network or social media pixel is embedded in MakinAI pages. The marketing category is not used today; if it is ever used, this policy will be updated first and it will run only with your consent.

Data collected by analytics cookies is transferred to servers of Google LLC (USA). This international transfer relies solely on your explicit consent (Turkish Law No. 6698, art. 9; GDPR art. 49(1)(a)); if you do not consent, no transfer takes place.

When a YouTube or Vimeo video added to a listing is played, that provider may set its own cookies; those cookies are subject to the provider’s own policy.

You can change your preferences or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer or on this page. Your accept/reject decision (choice, time, policy version, anonymous ID, shortened IP hash and browser information) is recorded as proof.

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in or use panel features.

If you delete the language cookie, the interface returns to the default language (Turkish).

When this policy is updated, the new version is published with its version number and effective date.
